I'm a mother of one gorgeous little girl, Willow Aliyah (who may feature on the insta account every now and then) and a wife to my very supportive and hard working husband, Ben. We live in Perth, just inland from the beautiful coastline. I am currently working part time for a large manufacturing/fitout company (who I have been with for years) which I love.

My love for knots (and the sea!) started when I was quite young and we would go sailing on the family yacht every weekend.. My Dad taught my brother and I nearly every knot under the sun, and we have always found them to come in very handy!

Since my Dad's passing in 2013 I have been wanting to do something that reminds me of him and have been looking for ways to still feel close to him.

I myself have had many years of serious health issues. After Willow's birth (2015) I came close to losing my life, and spent the first two weeks of her life in ICU. As anyone will tell you, that becomes a pivotal point in life, and I live for my family and friends, and seeking happiness in everyday.

My mum helped me realise this business dream when we tried out macrame one weekend and I instantly fell in love with the process! Tying knots has allowed me to feel close to my Dad, and I am also able to get my creative side flowing.
From that day on it has been quite a journey in making this dream a reality.
